Messy Play and Craft – Feb 23

Messy play is a fun interactive way for children to learn. Our messy play sessions are FREE and open to all children and young adults with SEND and their siblings. We have a ‘messy area’, crafts area and a play area for those who don’t fancy getting messy! We always set a ‘theme’ for the crafts, in the past, we have been on a ‘bear hunt’, met dinosaurs and learned all about numbers and colours. There is also an enclosed outside space for those children who may struggle with crowds or noise. Make new friends facing similar issues to you, ask for advice, whilst the little ones play in a safe, understanding environment. Have a child at home? No problem, bring them along there will be toys set out for play. We know it can be daunting coming somewhere new so family and friends are welcome to come along.

Held monthly at St Philips Church Hall, Taddington Road, Chaddesden Derby DE21 4JF – 2pm till 3pm
